Vadnai testvérek Palma de Mallorcán
1215 versenyző, 870 hajó, 62 ország, 10 olimpiai osztály. Vadnai Benjamin és Jonatán az európai vitorlás szezon első nagy versenyén, a 49. Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa Sofíán vettek részt Palma de Mallorcán. A Sofía IBEROSTAR a fiúk számára kulcsfontosságú felkészülési esemény volt a kvalifikációs VB előtt.
From the 30th of March to the 7th of April the bay of Palma in Mallorca (Spain) hosts the 49th Trofeo Princesa Sofia Iberostar, one of the most important Olympic sailing regatta in the world. Benjamin 12. helyen jutott az aranycsoportba, ahol az utolsó nap 2 futamot rendeztek. Benji 33. és 43. helyen futott be, végül a 23. helyen zárta a versenyt. Benji a Hunsail.hu-nak értékelte az utolsó napott: „Ma nagyon jó rajtjaim voltak és próbáltam biztonságra vitorlázni de egyszer sem sikerült jó oldalt választanom. Az elsőben a bal, a másodikban pedig a jobb oldal ment el. Sajnos annyira elcsúsztak méterben, hogy már felkapaszkodni is nehéz volt a mezőnyben” (HUNSAIL)
Jonatán az ezüstcsoportban versenyzett, ebben a csoportban 1 futamot rendeztek a zárónapon. Jonatán csoportjában 4. helyen ért célba, ezzel összességében a 69. helyen végzett a 181 fős mezőnyben.
